Normally, I would just patch these but...
A family friend had a run in with a scrap piece of 2” channel that decided to puncture a hole in the bottom side of his fuel tank. Normally, I would just patch these but this puncture was right next to one of the saddles that holds the tank on. With that type of repair, I decided to completely cut out the damage and repair with a flush fit so the tank would sit in saddle correctly.
